Visual & Performing Arts Department Courses will be weighted!
VPA MISSION STATEMENTThe Visual and Performing Arts Department at Catoctin High School will foster a learning environment derived from quality, high standards, challenge, and rigor. Through multiple learning models the VPA department will motivate students to engage in creative problem solving skills to become independent life long learners. At CHS the faculty will provide a safe environment for self expression and communication where the student body may explore cross-curricular connections and their relevance to the arts. The department as a whole is dedicated to the continued success and growth of our programs through community events, pubic displays and performances of student talents, and advertising.
